High-Strength Recline Mechanism
A reclining performance seat is only as strong as its locking system.
The GTZ utilizes a reinforced dual-lock recline mechanism integrated into a high-strength steel frame structure.
During structural evaluation, the seatback and recline mechanism were subjected to a 530 Nm rearward moment load, a test designed to verify locking integrity, backrest strength, and resistance to structural deformation.
This evaluation applies significant force through the seatback in an attempt to overload the recliner assembly and supporting structure.
The seat maintained structural integrity throughout testing.
Structural Load Performance
The GTZ seat structure was also evaluated under 2,800 N (630 lb-force) forward and rearward loading conditions.
These tests are designed to assess:
